Stepskart Footwear Private Limited is on the 3rd floor of the D.S.I.D.C. Complex in Okhla Industrial Area Phase 1. It is a bit of a maze back here. If you are looking for us, look for the FedEx Warehouse because we are right near it. The building is old and smells like cardboard and rubber, which I guess makes sense for a shoe place. Getting up to the third floor is our daily exercise. There is always someone hauling boxes in the hallways. It is 227, that is our room number. The walls are painted a plain off-white that has seen better days. We do not really have a lot of space for anything but the inventory. It gets pretty hot in the summer, especially under the roof, so we keep the windows open. You can hear the trucks loading and unloading at the warehouse next door all day. It is not the quietest spot in Okhla, but it works for what we do. We have got a small crew here. Everyone knows where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to an outsider. We are not worried about looking professional in a corporate way. We are more worried about making sure the orders are correct. It is just us, the shoes, and the daily hustle of the industrial estate. It's a real place where real work happens every single morning without much fuss.
