The Shoe Garage

We’re located at 118-B in Shahpur Jat, right next to the State Bank of India. If you’ve ever walked around this area, you know it’s a mix of old village houses and new creative spots. The Shoe Garage is exactly what it sounds like—a place where we deal with shoes. It’s not a massive showroom. It’s more of a compact space where we keep our stock and talk to people who wander in. The floors are a bit uneven and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy to worry about that right now. Most of the time, we’re surrounded by boxes and different materials. It’s a bit of a maze in here sometimes. We don't have a lot of fancy lighting, just some basic bulbs that do the job. People usually find us because they’re looking for something specific and heard we might have it. We don't do much in the way of advertising. We just sit here, work on the shoes, and chat with whoever comes through the door. The neighborhood is great because there are so many other small businesses around, and everyone kind of looks out for each other. It’s a good place to be if you like a bit of character in your surroundings. We’re just regular folks trying to run a shop without making a big fuss about things every day.
