Simron Decorators

Simron Decorators operates out of 26, D.S.I.D.C., Computer Complex Scheme-I, in Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-Ii. It is a big warehouse-style space because we have to store a lot of bulky items like tent poles, rolls of fabric, and stacks of chairs. Most of the time, the place looks like a bit of a mess because we are either loading stuff for an event or unloading it after one is finished. There are always people around repairing torn curtains or checking light strings to see if they still work. The industrial area is always busy with trucks and vans, and it can be quite a struggle to find parking near our unit. We have a small corner with a couple of chairs where we talk to people about what they need for their functions. It is not a fancy showroom by any means. There is usually some dust on the shelves and the floor needs a good sweep most days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different sites, so the office is often half-empty during the day. We have a small team of workers who know how to load the trucks fast. It is a lot of physical work and the hours can be very long, especially during the wedding season. We just keep our equipment ready and try to stay on top of the schedule. It's a busy life here in Okhla, but we are used to the noise.
