Sai Thermoformers

Sai Thermoformers is located in the Okhla Industrial Area, Phase 1. We are at Shed No. 25 in the D.S.I.D.C. complex. This part of New Delhi is always moving and very crowded. There’s a lot of noise and people everywhere you look. Our work involves thermoforming, which is basically making shapes out of plastic sheets using heat. It’s a bit of a messy process sometimes with all the heat and the trimming of the plastic edges. We’ve been in this particular shed for years. It’s not a large space by any means, but we’ve organized it to fit the machines and the packing area as best we can. Okhla is a tough place to work because of the traffic and the intense heat in the summer, but it’s where all the industry is centered. We mostly take orders from other companies that need packaging or specific plastic parts for their goods. We don't have a fancy website or any kind of professional sales team. Usually, people just walk in or give us a call because they saw our work elsewhere in the market. Our address at No. 25 is easy to find if you know the D.S.I.D.C. layout. It’s a very hands-on job for everyone here. We spend most of the day on our feet, checking the molds and the final products that come off the line. There’s no air conditioning in the main work area, just a few big fans to move the air around. We just focus on finishing the batches on time for our customers. It’s a simple operation run by a few of us who have been doing this for a long time.
