Shiv Nursery

Shiv Nursery is located at Kaka Nagar, right by Palla Chowk in Sector 37. It’s a green spot in the middle of all the concrete. We spend most of our time outdoors, dealing with plants, soil, and water. It’s a muddy job, and our clothes are usually covered in dirt by the end of the day. We have all kinds of plants lined up in rows, from small flowers to bigger shrubs. The sun can be quite harsh in Sector 37, so we spend a lot of time making sure everything stays hydrated. It’s a quiet life compared to working in an office. We talk to people about their gardens and what kind of soil they should use. Sometimes we have to deal with pests or plants that just won’t grow no matter what we do. The area around Palla Chowk is always busy with traffic, but once you step inside the nursery, it feels a bit more peaceful. We have a small shack where we keep our tools and take our breaks. It’s not a fancy setup, just a lot of pots and bags of fertilizer everywhere. We’ve been here for years, watching the plants grow and the seasons change. We don’t use any big machines, just our hands and some basic gardening tools. It’s hard work on the back, but we’ve gotten used to it over time.
