Rosy Hosiery Mills

We are tucked away at 48-D in the first tower, right on the back side here in the Kalkaji area. Finding the main entrance can be a little bit tricky if it is your first time visiting us, but most people manage to find their way eventually. We have been making various hosiery products in this same spot for a very long time. The machines we use make a lot of noise, so it is never really quiet inside the workshop during the day. We have a small team of local workers who know exactly how to run the machines and fix them when they act up. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon getting them back in order. We do not have a fancy reception area or a place for people to wait. There are just a few old chairs and a wooden desk where we keep the accounts. The windows look out onto the back alleyway. It can get very crowded inside when a fresh shipment of yarn arrives and we have nowhere to put it. We try to keep the floor swept, but with all the lint from the hosiery, it is a task that never really ends. We work long hours during the winter months because that is when the demand for our stuff goes up. My father was the one who started this mill, and we have just kept it running the same way ever since.
