Our office is at 75, Link Road, right in the heart of Lajpat Nagar-3. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how hectic it gets. Resource International Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away from the main market chaos, but we still hear the honking and the shouting from the street all day long. We’ve been based here for quite a while now. The office is mostly just a bunch of desks, some filing cabinets that don't always close right, and a lot of computers. We do international trade, so we spend a lot of time looking at clocks and trying to figure out what time it is in other countries before we make a call. It’s not a very glamorous life. There is a lot of waiting for emails and worrying about shipping containers being stuck somewhere. We usually have a pot of tea going in the corner, and the smell of it fills the room by mid-morning. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just us few people who have worked together for years. We know each other's habits and how we like things done. There’s no need for big meetings or fancy presentations here. We just sit down, look at what needs to be shipped out, and get on with it. It’s a straightforward business, and we like keeping it that way without adding any unnecessary complications to our daily routine. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just work.
