M.C. Engineering Co. Pvt Ltd has its home at 196 J. Ramesh Market. Being in East of Kailash means things are always moving fast around us. This shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a regular engineering place where things get made and fixed. We deal with a lot of metal and machine parts throughout the week. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in the market sometimes, especially when we have a big delivery coming in or going out. My father started things off and we just kept it going the same way. We don't use much fancy talk here. If a part needs turning or a frame needs welding, we just get on with it. The floors stay pretty greasy because that's just how engineering shops are. You’ll usually find three or four of us hunched over a lathe or talking about a blueprint. We drink a lot of chai to get through the afternoon slump. It’s honest work and we’ve known most of the other shop owners in Ramesh Market for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Delhi, we just want to do the job right so the customer doesn't have to come back twice for the same problem. The machines are old but they run smooth if you treat them well. That’s pretty much the whole story of this place. We just open the doors and see what the day brings us.
