Rajdhani Bakery

Rajdhani Bakery is located at G-66/6 in Shaheen Bagh, which is part of the Abul Fazal Enclave Part-II in Jamia Nagar, Okhla. The shop sits right on a street that is almost always full of people walking by or kids playing. We have been here in this part of Okhla for a good while, and the neighborhood knows us well. The shop isn't very big, and the back area where all the actual work happens is even tighter. We have big ovens that stay hot for most of the day, so the air inside always smells like flour and yeast. The front counter has a glass display that we have to wipe down every few hours because of the fingerprints. Sometimes the display light flickers a bit, but we just tap it and it stays on. We have a few racks for the fresh stuff that comes out in the mornings. It gets quite crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work and stops by to pick something up. The floors are tiled, but they get slippery if we aren't careful with the cleaning. We don't have a place for people to sit down and eat, so it is mostly just people coming in and out quickly. We handle everything ourselves, from the prep work to the cleaning at the end of the night. It is a busy little spot in a very lively neighborhood.
