Palls Gas Tandoors (India)

We've been at K-634 in Sainik Farm for quite some time now. Most people around here just know us as the place to get a gas tandoor when you’re setting up a kitchen or maybe replacing an old one that’s finally given out. Our shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but inside we’ve got everything we need to build things the right way. We do a lot of the metal work right here on the floor, so it can get pretty noisy during the day with all the banging and cutting going on. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been doing this for years and know exactly how a tandoor should be put together so it lasts. It’s about making sure the thing works every time the cook turns it on. We spend our days mostly covered in dust or grease, which is just part of the job. Sainik Farm is a decent area to work in, even if it gets a bit crowded sometimes. We don't really bother with putting ads in the paper or anything like that. Usually, someone just hears about us from a friend and drops by the shop to see what we have. We like it that way because it keeps things simple and we can just focus on the work itself. There’s always a few tandoors in different stages of being built, and we try to get them finished on schedule so nobody is left waiting too long. It’s honest work for us.
