Organo India

Organo India is based on the second floor of L-11 in Malviya Nagar. It’s a local neighborhood office, so it feels more like a home than a corporate headquarters. We have to walk up the stairs since there isn't a lift, which keeps us a bit active at least. The office itself is bright because we get a lot of sun through the windows in the afternoon. We mostly deal with organic products, so the place often smells like dried herbs or spices, depending on what samples we have lying around. It’s not a huge space, so we all sit pretty close to each other. This makes it easy to shout questions across the room instead of sending emails. We have a few plants in the corners that are mostly surviving. The street outside is always full of people going to the market, so there’s a lot of energy around the building. We spend a lot of our time talking to farmers and suppliers, trying to keep track of everything. It can be quite messy with all the sample bags and boxes stacked up against the walls. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. If someone comes to see us, we just pull up a spare chair and offer them some tea. It’s a very grounded way to work. We just focus on what we have in front of us and try to keep things organized as best as we can every single day.
