Naqati Group

Naqati Group works out of the basement at B-151 in Lajpat Nagar-I. It is right in the middle of everything in this part of the city. The basement space is where we handle the administrative side of things for the group. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the desks and filing cabinets we’ve crammed in over the years. We have to be careful not to trip over the wires on the floor. The entrance is just a set of stairs leading down from the street level. It’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for the number. Since we’re in Lajpat Nagar, there’s always something happening nearby, which makes the work day go by a bit faster. We have a small kettle for making tea and we usually have some biscuits around for when we get hungry. We spend a lot of time coordinating between different people and making sure everything is on track. It gets quite busy, especially towards the end of the month. The lighting isn't the best, but we've got enough lamps to see what we're doing. It’s a practical setup for us. We don't need a fancy high-rise office to get our work done. We like being close to the market and the energy of the street. It’s a simple, hardworking environment where everyone knows what they need to do to get through the daily list of tasks.
