Griha Council

Our office is over at A 260, Bhisham Pitamah Marg in Defence Colony. It’s a well-known part of the city, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Griha Council is basically a group of people who work on things related to buildings and how they are put together. We spend a lot of time at our desks reading through reports and looking at plans. It isn't the kind of place with a lot of heavy machinery, but it’s busy in its own way with all the paperwork and meetings. Defence Colony is a nice area, but we’re usually too wrapped up in our projects to notice much of the outside. We have some shelves full of files and a small area where we have tea and talk about what needs to get done next. We don't have a big corporate hierarchy. Everyone just chips in where they can. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually hear yourself think. We aren't trying to sell anyone on anything fancy. We just have a job to do regarding standards and we try to do it right. People come in and out, some stay for a long time, and we just keep the wheels turning. It’s a regular office with regular people trying to be useful in the building sector. We keep things pretty straightforward.
