Phoenix Contact India Pvt.Ltd. is located at F-26/2 in the Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-Li. Okhla is a place that never really stops moving. There are always people on the move and trucks unloading something in the middle of the street. Our facility here is where we handle a lot of the day-to-day operations. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s a working building with plenty of storage and workspace for the technical side of things. We deal with a lot of small parts and connectors, so things can look a bit cluttered if you don’t know where to look. We try our best to keep it tidy, but work happens and boxes pile up. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we’ve gotten used to the noise and the dust of the industrial estate. The people who work here aren't corporate types. We’re more comfortable in work boots and casual shirts than suits. We don't spend time writing mission statements because we’re too busy getting the orders out the door. It’s a lot of manual work and coordination with the delivery drivers. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a big batch, but that’s part of the trade. It’s a straightforward business. We just focus on getting the parts right and making sure they get to where they’re going without any damage. It's a busy life.
