Nanak Dairy Plant

Our plant is located at C-15 in Okhla Industrial Area Phase-I, and it is a pretty busy corner. If you walk by, you’ll see the trucks backed up to the loading bay and the staff moving around in their white aprons. Nanak Dairy Plant has been here for a good while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Inside, it is all about the rhythm of the machinery. There is a specific sound that the bottling line makes when it’s running smooth, and you notice immediately if something is off. We don't spend money on glossy brochures or big signs. Most of our effort goes into keeping the place clean and making sure the milk stays cold. It gets quite loud during the peak hours, and sometimes we have to shout to be heard over the boilers. We have a small office tucked away in the corner where we keep the ledgers, but nobody stays in there for long. There is always a pallet that needs moving or a valve that needs a quick check. We just do things the old-fashioned way, focusing on the daily tasks and getting the orders ready for the morning routes. It’s a dusty part of town, but inside our gates, we try to keep everything as orderly as we can. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do and what we have always done.
