Mangalam Print & Laminates

You can find us at the Mohan Co-Operative Industrial Estate, specifically at plot B-Ii-48. It’s one of those big industrial areas where every building looks a bit like the next one. We do a lot of printing and laminating work here, which means there is always the smell of ink and plastic in the air. The machines are pretty loud, so we have to shout sometimes to hear each other over the noise. It’s a practical space, mostly filled with large rolls of material and the heavy equipment we use to press everything together. We spend a lot of our time making sure the colors look right on the prints and that the lamination doesn't have any bubbles in it. It's a lot of standing around and watching the reels turn. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which slows things down a bit. We have a small office tucked in the front corner where we handle the billing and the client calls. It’s nothing special to look at, just a place to sit down for a minute. Most of the guys here live nearby, so we’ve become a bit of a tight group over the years. We just try to get the jobs done on time so the trucks can take them away. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We don't have much time for small talk when the machines are running, but we manage.
