Madan Consulting Engineers

We've been here at Deshbandhu Apartments in Kalkaji for a while now. It’s a busy spot in New Delhi, and being at number 144 means we see a lot of the local life every day. We handle engineering consulting work. Mostly, it’s just us sitting at our desks, looking at plans and trying to figure out technical problems for people who come to us. The office isn't fancy. It’s an apartment, so it feels like a home because it mostly is. We start early when the tea stalls outside are just opening up. Sometimes the internet is slow, or it gets noisy when there's a festival in the street, but we get the work done. Clients come by, we sit around the table, and we talk through the projects. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. Just some old chairs and a lot of paper. People in the building know us. It’s a decent place to work because everything you need is right there in the market. We don't spend much time on fancy websites or advertisements. Word travels around the neighborhood or people find us because they need someone nearby who knows how to do the math and the drawings. It's just a regular job for us. We focus on the blueprints and making sure the numbers add up so things don't go wrong later on. That's about it really. Just a small team in an apartment trying to stay busy.
