Krishna Dyeing Factory

We’ve been running Krishna Dyeing Factory from our spot at C-44/4 in Okhla Industrial Area, Phase 2 for quite some time now. It’s a busy part of the city and the noise from the other units is constant. Inside our place, it’s mostly about the vats and the rolls of fabric waiting to be colored. We don’t have any fancy reception area or air-conditioned offices. It’s just a work floor where the steam rises and the floors are often wet. Most of the guys have been with us for years and they know how the chemicals react with different cloths. We don’t do much talking, we just get to the dyeing. Sometimes the colors don't come out exactly on the first try so we have to do it again until it’s right. It’s hard work, especially when the summer heat hits Okhla. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot and keep going until the day’s batches are hanging up to dry. We deal with whatever comes in, from small orders to larger piles of fabric. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. The address is pretty easy to find if you’re familiar with Phase 2. We just keep things simple here and focus on the work in front of us. No big speeches or anything, just keeping the machines running and the dye mixed.
