Kilco Sales & Services

Kilco Sales & Services is based in Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-1, at D-14/5. Okhla is a massive place and it’s very easy to get lost if you don’t have a map. Our unit is one of many in this row. We focus on sales and helping people with their equipment repairs. The front area is where customers come in, and the back is a workshop filled with tools and spare parts. It’s always a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. There’s a constant sound of trucks passing by and people shouting orders in the street. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t even notice the noise anymore. The office part is just a small corner with a phone and a computer that’s a few years old. We aren't interested in having the newest gadgets; we just need things that work. Most of our day is spent talking to people who have problems with their machines or need a specific part. It can be stressful when we have a lot of work piled up, but we just take it one job at a time. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just try to get the repairs done and keep the records straight. The tea man comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a short break. It’s a busy, dusty, and honest way to make a living in Delhi. We head out once the shutters are rolled down for the night.
