Jijo Abraham

Jijo Abraham is located at 37/1244 in the DDA Flats in Madangir. This is in the Khanpur area of New Delhi. These flats are part of a huge housing complex that the government built. It can be a bit of a maze if you aren't familiar with how the numbers work. Each block looks a bit like the next one. Our spot is just a regular flat where we have set up our things to work. Khanpur is a very crowded and lively part of Delhi. There are people everywhere and the markets nearby are always full. We stay busy with our tasks in this small space. It’s not a corporate office with a lobby or a receptionist. You just come to the door of the flat. Inside it’s a bit cramped because of all the books and files we have, but it gets the job done. The walls are a bit old and the paint is peeling in a couple of corners, but we don't mind much. It feels more like a home than a business place, which is fine for us. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay organized. Being in a DDA flat means we have neighbors on all sides, so there is always the sound of someone cooking or kids playing in the corridors. It’s a very real, local way to work in the city without needing any fancy storefront.
