Jhalani Tools

We are located at 51/52 Nehru Place, right on the main road at Gedore House. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in off the street. Nehru Place is always a bit of a madhouse with so many people moving around, but we’ve been here at Jhalani Tools for quite some time now. This building has some history to it, and we feel like a part of the furniture at this point. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of tools and equipment. We don’t go for anything fancy in terms of decoration. The focus is on the inventory we keep on hand. We have stuff piled up, and sometimes it takes a minute to dig out exactly what a customer is looking for. It’s a lot of back-and-forth, answering questions about sizes and what tool is right for what job. We get all sorts of people coming through the door, from professionals who know exactly what they want to folks who are just trying to fix something at home and look a bit lost. We try to treat everyone the same. The air conditioning struggles sometimes when the door is constantly opening and closing, but we manage. It’s a fast-paced environment because of where we are, but we try to take our time to make sure we don’t hand over the wrong thing. It’s just how we run things here. No big corporate vibe, just a shop on a busy road doing its thing.
