J.S Engineering is found at 40 Mandir Wali Gali, right in the heart of Yusuf Sarai Market. It is a place that never really stays quiet, with the market life starting early and going on until late at night. We are situated in a lane that is quite narrow, so you can't really bring a car right up to the door. Most of our work involves smaller engineering components that we can manage in this tight space. The shop itself is old, and the walls have been painted many times over the years. We have a lot of drawers and bins filled with bolts, nuts, and various metal bits that we’ve collected. It might look like a mess to an outsider, but we know exactly where every single piece is kept. Being in Yusuf Sarai means we are close to everything, but it also means dealing with the dust and the constant crowd of shoppers and commuters. We spend a lot of our day talking to people who come in looking for specific items they can't find elsewhere. Sometimes the heat in the lane gets a bit much, so we keep the door open and use a small table fan to stay cool. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing; we just rely on people knowing we are here in the lane. It is a simple, honest way to run a business in a busy city.
