Itess Consultancy

The office for Itess Consultancy is inside the DDA Flats at Kalkaji, specifically J 3 121. These flats have a very specific look to them, and we’ve been in this one for quite some time. It’s a residential area, so it feels more like a home than a sterile office building. We have a small balcony where we keep some plants, though they don't always get enough water. Inside, the main room is filled with computers and a few printers that hum all day long. We use the smaller room for filing and keeping the records straight. It’s a bit of a tight fit when all of us are here at once, but we’re used to it. The neighborhood in Kalkaji is nice because you have everything close by, like the small market for snacks. Sometimes the electricity goes off for a bit, and we all just take a break until it comes back on. We have a lot of books and manuals stacked on the windowsills because we ran out of shelf space months ago. The floor is that old stone tile that stays cool even when it's hot outside in New Delhi 110019. It’s not a place with a big logo or a fancy lobby. People just know we are here in the flats, working through whatever paperwork or consulting projects come our way. It’s a steady kind of life for the few of us who work here daily.
