Our place is at B-112 in the Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-I. Being in Okhla means we are right in the heart of the industrial zone, surrounded by other factories and warehouses. We deal with industrial garment machines, so our space is usually full of heavy equipment and spare parts. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day, with trucks loading and unloading and the hum of other businesses nearby. Inside our unit, we have rows of machines that are used for making clothes on a large scale. We spend a lot of time moving these heavy units around and making sure they are in good working order. The floors are concrete and there is often a bit of oil or dust around, which is normal for an industrial setting. We don't have a polished showroom. Most people who come to see us are from the garment trade and they know what they are looking for. We spend our time talking about needle types, motor speeds, and stitching patterns. It is a very practical environment. Our technicians are usually busy with their tools, fixing up a machine or testing a new model. We start our day when the industrial area wakes up and we don't really stop until it is time to lock the gates. It is hard, physical work and we just focus on getting the machines ready for the people who need them. It is a simple, honest operation.
