Gurunanak Tools & Hardware Store

You can find our store at 84-A in Dilshad Garden, right in Pocket B. It’s a local hardware shop, nothing too fancy about it. We have aisles filled with everything from nails and screws to power drills and plumbing supplies. Sometimes it’s a bit of a mess because we are always unloading new stock or helping someone find a tiny washer that fell behind a shelf. We’ve been serving this part of Dilshad Garden for quite some time. Most of our customers are neighbors who are trying to fix something in their house or local contractors who need supplies for a job nearby. We don't have a big staff, usually just a couple of us behind the counter. We know our inventory pretty well, so if you ask for something, we can usually point you to the right corner. The shop opens early because that’s when the workers need their gear. We don't bother with fancy displays or slogans. We just put the stuff on the shelves and let people see what they're buying. It’s a dusty job, and by the end of the day, our hands are usually pretty dirty. But there’s a certain satisfaction in helping someone get exactly what they need to finish a project. We stay open until the evening, then lock up and do it all again the next day. It’s just how a local shop like ours runs.
