We are located in the Flatted Factory Complex at Okhla Phase III, which is a pretty intense place to work if you don’t like noise. Being in an F-block unit means we are surrounded by other workshops and small factories, so there’s always the sound of hammers or motors running in the background. Our space is filled with graphic machinery, some of it quite large and taking up most of the floor. We don't have much room for a lounge or anything like that, just the machines and a few desks for the paperwork. The hallways of the complex are usually stacked with crates and people moving pallets around, so you have to watch your step. We’ve been here for a while and know most of the neighbors, so we often borrow tools from each other if something breaks. Okhla is a tough place during the peak of summer because the buildings hold the heat, but the tea guy always comes around at the right time. Our work is mostly about maintenance and getting these machines to run smoothly for our customers. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that; we just answer the phone and try to fix whatever issue someone is having with their equipment. It’s a very practical environment where the focus is strictly on the hardware. It gets a bit dusty with all the movement, but that’s just part of being in an industrial complex like this one.
