Our office is down in the Okhla Industrial Area, specifically Phase I at D-87/1. If you’ve ever been to Okhla, you know it’s a lot of trucks, dust, and people moving things around. Our building fits right in with that practical, working-class atmosphere. We’ve been here for a long time, and the place definitely shows its age, but we like it that way. It’s a real working environment, not some sterile lab. We spend our days dealing with all sorts of technical stuff and publishing work. There are stacks of magazines everywhere and parts of electronics lying around on various tables. It can look like a bit of a mess to an outsider, but we generally know where everything is. The noise from the surrounding industrial units is just background music to us now. We don't have a fancy mission statement or a team of people trying to make us look better than we are. We just focus on the technical details and getting the information out to the people who need it. It’s a lot of proofreading, checking specs, and making sure the printers are doing their job. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets flooded, but we just deal with it and keep going. It’s an honest way to make a living, and being in Okhla keeps us close to the kind of work we actually care about. We’ve been doing this for years and it suits us.
