Our little spot is over at 4A in Shahpur Jat, and if you’ve ever tried to park a car around here, you know exactly what kind of struggle we face every single morning. It’s a busy, tight neighborhood full of designers and small workshops, and we’re just one of many trying to make things work in this maze. The building we’re in is nothing special to look at, just a regular brick and mortar place that has seen better days, but it’s got a lot of character. We don’t have a big reception desk or a person in a suit greeting you at the door. Usually, you’ll just find one of us buried under some papers or talking loudly on the phone. The walls are a bit thin, so we can hear everything going on in the street, from the street food vendors to the honking rickshaws. It gets a bit overwhelming sometimes, but we’ve grown to like the noise. We started Dubdengreen without much of a plan other than to do some honest work and stay busy. We’ve had some good days and some pretty frustrating ones where nothing seems to go right, but that’s just how it is when you’re running a small operation. We don’t spend much on advertising because we’d rather just let the work speak for itself. It’s a simple life here in Shahpur Jat, and we’re happy just being part of the local scene.
