Daya Fabz International

The office is up on the first floor here at 318 A in Chirag Delhi. It’s not a huge space, but it fits everything we need to get through the workday. Getting up the stairs with heavy bags can be a bit of a workout sometimes, especially when the weather is humid. We spend a lot of our time surrounded by samples and paperwork. It gets pretty noisy outside with the traffic, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly just the sound of the fans and someone talking on the phone. We don’t really have a big team at Daya Fabz International, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One minute you’re checking an order and the next you’re moving boxes around to make space for more stuff. We’ve been in this part of Delhi for a while, so we know the local chai wallah and the other shopkeepers nearby pretty well. It’s a practical sort of place. There aren't any bright lights or flashy signs, just a door and some desks where we try to stay on top of the pile of things to do. Some days are slower than others, which gives us a chance to tidy up the fabric swatches that tend to end up all over the floor. We just keep at it, day in and day out, making sure things move along like they’re supposed to without too much trouble.
