Down here on the lower ground floor of S26, things are pretty steady at Dw Haber India Pvt Ltd. Being in the basement means we don't get much sunlight, but it keeps the place a bit cooler when the Delhi heat gets really bad outside. Our business has been based in Okhla Phase-2 for a good number of years now. Okhla is always a bit of a mess with traffic and trucks, so getting here in the morning can be a bit of a headache. The space we have is mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We also keep some of our inventory in the back corner, so there are always cardboard boxes piled up somewhere. It’s a practical workspace, nothing designed to look impressive for visitors. We have a small team here, and most of us have been working together for a long time. Usually, the day is spent on the phone or typing away at the keyboards. We get our lunch from the local vendors who come around on cycles, and that’s pretty much the highlight of the afternoon. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we just have to wait for the generator to kick in. It’s just a normal office in a busy industrial park. If you’re coming to see us, you have to look closely for the S26 sign and then head down the stairs. We’re usually here from morning until six or so in the evening.
