Priyadarshini Enterprises

We work out of E-124, in the rear basement over in Kalkaji. Being in a basement in South Delhi means we don’t get a lot of natural light, but we’ve got enough lamps to keep things bright. Priyadarshini Enterprises is a small operation where we handle a variety of trading and supply tasks. It’s a bit of a walk down the stairs, and the space is packed with shelves and desks. We don't have a big fancy sign out front, just a small one so people can find us. The air conditioning is usually running full blast because it gets stuffy otherwise. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing away at old computers. It’s not the most glamorous spot, but it’s where we get things done. We have a small pantry where we make coffee and sometimes share snacks. The neighborhood is quite busy with shoppers and other small businesses, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We deal with our suppliers directly and keep a close eye on our stock levels. It’s just a few of us trying to run a decent business without making things more complicated than they need to be. We focus on the daily tasks and make sure our clients get what they asked for. It’s a simple living and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening when the market finally quietens down.
