Amf Exports operates out of the DSIDC Complex in Okhla Phase I. Our unit is number 106. Okhla is a massive industrial hub, and being in the DSIDC compound means we are surrounded by all sorts of factories and warehouses. It’s a busy environment. There is always a truck idling nearby or someone shouting instructions over the noise of a forklift. Our space is filled with the goods we export. We spend our days sorting through items, packing them into boxes, and getting the paperwork ready for shipping. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do to keep things running. The office is just a small partitioned area in the corner of the warehouse. We’ve been here long enough that we don't really notice the noise anymore. Lunch usually happens at our desks or standing up near the loading dock when we have a spare moment. We have a small crew, and everyone knows their role without being told twice. We don't have time for long speeches or mission statements. We just need to get the boxes on the trucks and out the door. The DSIDC Complex is a maze, so we often have to give directions to new drivers who look lost. It’s a fast-paced life here in Phase I, but we’ve found our rhythm and we stick to it.
