Chirag Engineers

Chirag Engineers is over at 32, Vidhi Estate, which is tucked away inside Mahalaxmi Estate on Bombay Conductor Road in Vatva. It’s a busy part of the industrial zone, and there’s always a lot of noise from the trucks and the other workshops nearby. We’ve been operating from this same spot for quite a few years now. The workshop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a regular space with our machines and tools spread out. We spend most of our days working on various engineering parts and doing repairs for other local businesses. Sometimes the floor is a bit of a mess with metal scraps and oil, but that’s just how it is when you’re busy with production. We have a couple of lathes and some welding equipment that get used pretty much every single day. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a short break to talk about the work. Finding us can be a little tricky the first time because the entrance to Mahalaxmi Estate is usually crowded with parked vehicles and delivery vans. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most people just find out about us through word of mouth or because they are already working in the Vatva area. It gets quite hot in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get through the jobs we have on the list.
