Alliance Embroidery Services is located at F-35/5 in the Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-II. If you’ve ever been to Okhla, you know it’s a maze of factories and workshops. Our place is no different. We have rows of embroidery machines that run almost constantly during the day. The sound of the needles clicking is something you get used to after a few minutes, but it can be loud for visitors. We do all sorts of stitching on fabric, mostly for clothes and uniforms that other companies bring to us. We have threads in every color you can imagine lined up on the walls. It’s a bit dusty because of all the lint and fabric scraps, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We have a small staff of people who are really good with their hands and can fix a machine if it jams up. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that hanging on the wall. We just have a calendar and a list of jobs that need to be finished by the end of the week. The air conditioning struggles a bit in the summer heat, so we keep the doors open when we can. It’s a humble spot but it’s where we spend most of our lives. We just keep our heads down and focus on the patterns. It’s decent work and we’ve been doing it long enough to know the tricks.
