Out in the Vatva GIDC area, specifically Phase 1, you’ll find us at 499/2 in the Dev Industrial Estate. This is Ahmedabad Engineers P Ltd, and we’ve been part of this industrial landscape for quite some time. The estate is a maze of sheds and units, and our place is just one of many. It gets quite hot in the summer, and the tin roof doesn't help much, but we have a few big fans that keep the air moving. There’s a lot of machinery here, so it’s never really quiet. We deal with various engineering projects, which means there’s often a lot of scrap metal and spare parts tucked into the corners. The floor is mostly dark from years of work. We don’t have any fancy signage, just the name on the door. Most people who come here are regulars who know exactly where to go. We eat our lunch at a shared table in the back office, usually talking about what needs to be fixed or moved. It’s a very hands-on environment. Working in Vatva means being surrounded by other businesses just like ours, which is helpful when you need a specific bolt or a quick bit of advice. We just keep the machines running and handle the orders as they come in. It’s honest work in a busy industrial zone. There isn't much more to it than that, just daily work in the estate.
