We've been at Plot No. 330 here in Kundli for a good while now. Being in Phase 4, near Sector 57, it gets pretty busy around Niftem Chowk with all the trucks and people moving about. We started Warmex Home Appliances Pvt.Ltd. because we saw people needed decent stuff for their houses that didn't break the bank after a month. Our day usually starts early, around 8 or 9, when the first lot of workers shows up. It's a lot of metal and plastic and wiring going on inside the factory. Sometimes the power goes out, or a delivery is late, but that’s just how things go in this part of town. We don't have a fancy lobby with marble floors or anything like that. It’s just an office and the floor where everything happens. We spend most of our time checking on the machines or talking to the guys about what parts we need to order next. The tea stall right outside the gate is where most of us end up during the afternoon break. People ask why we stayed in Kundli all these years, and I guess it’s just because we know the neighbors and how things work here. It's not a glamorous life, making heaters or whatever else is on the schedule for the week, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. We try to keep things simple and just get the work done without too much fuss and bother.
