Mehra Engg. Corp.

Mehra Engg. Corp. is located at 452-453 in the Epip part of Hsidc. It’s a big space because we need the room for all the machinery we use. We’ve been here for a while and the building is starting to show its age a bit, but it serves its purpose. Most of the day is spent listening to the machines run and making sure everything is aligned right. We deal with lots of metal and parts, so there is always a bit of grease around. The staff here is mostly local folks who have been in the trade for years. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a door and some stairs that lead up to where the paperwork happens. Sometimes the trucks get backed up at the entrance when deliveries arrive at the same time. It’s just how it goes in an industrial estate like this one. We keep the machines running from early morning until late evening. It can get pretty hot in the summer months but we have some big fans that help a little. People know us for just doing what we're asked to do without much fuss. If you walk by you’ll probably hear the sound of welding or grinding. We just focus on the task in front of us and try to get home on time. It’s a steady kind of life here at the Hsidc plots. We just get on with the daily workload.
