United Metals

United Metals is located on the Old GT Road in Gahoon Vihar. We are situated very close to Mela Ram School, so there is always a lot of noise from the kids during the morning and when they get out in the afternoon. Being on the old road means things are a bit slower than the main highway, but it still stays fairly active with local traffic. The building we are in has seen better days, but it serves its purpose for what we do with metal. We spend a lot of our time moving pipes and sheets around the yard. It is heavy work and our clothes usually end up pretty dirty by the end of the shift. The neighborhood is mostly residential around the back, so we try not to make too much noise too early in the morning. Sometimes the school staff comes by if they need something small fixed or just to chat. We have a small desk inside that is piled high with papers and old receipts because filing isn't really our strong suit. Most of the guys who work here have been with us for years and we just know how to get through the day without much fuss. If you are looking for us, just look for the big iron gate near the school entrance. The sign is a bit faded from the sun but it is still there. We don't have a big fancy office, just a place to work.
