Laxmi Steel Works

We have been at Plot No-137 for a while now. It is always busy here in Sector-16. Laxmi Steel Works is basically just us doing the daily grind with metal. Sometimes the floor is quite messy, but that is just how it goes in an industrial state. We handle the heavy stuff mostly. A lot of local jobs come our way. People from around Hsiidc show up looking for specific parts or some quick repairs. It is not a fancy office at all, just a workspace filled with machines. We start early, usually when the sun is barely up. The noise is constant but you eventually get used to it. We do not have a big team, just a few guys who know their way around a welder. Every day is different depending on what orders come in. Some days it is all small bits and pieces, other days we are moving big sheets of steel. We have got the basics down. If you walk past the shop, you will see us there most days. We do not spend much time on computers. Most of the work is done by hand or with the old machines we have kept running. It is practical work. We stay here until the job gets finished. Nothing too complicated about it. We usually have some tea around ten in the morning and talk about what else needs doing. The floor is concrete and hard on the feet, so we wear thick boots. It is just the way it is here.
