Vijaygarh Farmers Producer Companylimited is located over at W-03 in Vikas Nagar. Robertsganj is where we call home and it is a place that stays pretty active. Our office is just a simple room where we keep our registers and wait for the farmers to come in from the outlying areas. You won't find any fancy suits or ties here. We usually wear our work clothes because there is always something to lift or move. The road outside Vikas Nagar gets quite muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time cleaning our boots. We talk a lot about the cost of things and why everything seems to be getting more expensive every year. It is a real struggle sometimes to keep things moving. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity that doesn't care about the people. We live right here in the neighborhood. You might see us at the tea stall in the morning or at the market in the evening. We handle the paperwork because someone has to do it, but our hearts are really out in the fields where the sun is hot and the work is real. We don't have a mission statement written on the wall. We just have a list of people who need help getting their produce sold. It is basic and it is honest work, and that is all we really want to achieve here.
