Maa Vanshra Tribel Farmer Producercompany Limited is based over in Sonbhadra. You can find us at the address of Shail Kumari Devi, right near the Kali Mandir in Chopan. Sonbhadra is a unique place with a lot of hills and different kinds of terrain, and that reflects in the way we have to farm. We mostly focus on the tribal farming community around here because that is who we are. Our office is just a simple building near the temple. It’s a landmark everyone knows, so it makes it easy for people to find us when they need to talk about their crops. Shail Kumari Devi helps keep things organized for the group. We spend a lot of our time out in the more remote areas of Chopan, checking on how things are growing. It’s not an easy life, especially when the weather doesn't go our way, but the community here is strong. We don't use any of those big words you see in city businesses. We just talk about the soil, the seeds, and how to get the produce to a place where people will actually buy it for a decent price. Working in Sonbhadra means we have to be tough and practical. We started this group because we wanted to have a bit more control over our own work. It’s just us, some local farmers, trying to make things work out of a small room near the Kali Mandir. That is our reality.
