Kedarkatkar

Kedarkatkar is located at 615 Shukrawar Peth in Solapur. This part of Maharashtra has a very specific feel, especially in these older peth areas. My place is right in the thick of it all. There’s a lot of history in these streets, and while the building has seen better days, it is solid and dependable. I work from a small room that faces the back alley. It stays quiet there, away from the constant noise of the market nearby. I don't have fancy equipment, just the essentials for my daily work. The walls are a dull cream, and I still have an old calendar up because I like the picture. Most of my day is spent handling local requests and talking to people who walk in. You don't need an appointment to see me. You just show up and we talk over a cup of chai. People seem to like that it isn't a stiff or formal environment. It’s just me in my office doing my job. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so I take a break and sit outside for a bit. It’s a simple, practical way to run things without any unnecessary fuss. I’ve been here for years and I don't see that changing anytime soon. The work gets done, the neighbors are friendly, and life moves at its own pace in Shukrawar Peth. It is an honest living for an honest day.
