We set up our office here in Ramakant Karnik Nagar, B 571, which is just behind the Walchand Institute of Technology in Solapur. It’s a busy little pocket of the city and most people know the area because of the college. We’ve been running Kalyani Infotech Solution Limited from this spot for quite a while now. It’s not one of those fancy glass buildings you see in the bigger cities. It’s just a practical workspace where we get our daily tasks done. We handle a variety of tech things, mostly helping local folks with their computers and software stuff. My cousin helps me out with the hardware side of the business, and I look after the rest. We don’t have a massive team or anything, just a few of us who show up every day. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow and the office gets a bit messy with parts and cables, but that’s just how we work. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they were walking past the institute. We try to be helpful and give straight answers without using too much technical talk that nobody understands. It’s been a good journey so far, seeing how the neighborhood has grown over the years. We stay open until late most nights because that’s when people need us. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us going and we like being part of the Solapur community.
