Our group, Madhiaai Farmers Producer Company Limited, is located at Gat No. 27 in Upali. We use Vilas Madhavarao Shejul’s place as our home base. This is in the Sillod taluka, and if you live around here, you know it’s mostly farm country. We are just a group of local people who decided it was better to work together than to try and do everything separately. It’s not a complicated setup. We spend our days out in the fields and then meet up at the post in Upali when we have to handle the business side of things. There is no corporate ladder here. We are all just farmers. Some days are tougher than others, depending on the rain or the pests, but having this company helps us stay a bit more organized. We don’t spend money on fancy advertisements or big signs. Most people hear about us just by talking to their neighbors. We deal with the stuff that matters to us, like getting the right supplies for the season and making sure we can actually sell what we grow. It is a very hands-on way of doing things. We stay busy with the land and the crops. It’s honest work, and we are glad to be doing it here in Sillod. If you see us around Gat No. 27, we are probably just discussing the next harvest or sorting out some equipment issues. It keeps us occupied and helps the families here stay on their feet.
