Our small group is located over in Nanegaon, near Ambhai. Pathan Jameel Khan is the one who helps us keep things organized at his place. Sayma Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited is really just a group of local farmers from around Sillod who decided to join up. We spend most of our time out in the dirt, so we don't have much use for big words or polished speeches. It is just about getting the seeds planted and making sure the harvest goes okay when the time comes. Sometimes we sit around and discuss the prices or where to get better tools. It's a lot of practical stuff that doesn't get much attention elsewhere. We have been doing this for a long time and we know the land around here pretty well. It isn't always easy, especially when the rain doesn't come when it should. But we keep at it. Having this company helps us stay organized and maybe save a little bit of money on things we all need. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. If you want to know something, you just come and ask us. We are just regular people trying to make a living off the ground. Most of our days are spent checking the fields and talking to the other growers in the area to see how they are doing.
