Shri Vari Concrete is tucked away at 2F, Mandli Kallur, in the Industrial Area. If you know that part of the city, you know it’s mostly just warehouses and small factories, which is exactly where we need to be for this kind of work. We deal with concrete every single day, so the yard is always filled with sand, gravel, and heavy bags of cement. It’s a bit of a messy environment, but that’s just how it goes when you’re mixing stuff for building. The sun hits the industrial area pretty hard in the afternoon, making the metal sheds hot, but we just keep the fans going and stay focused on the batches. We have a few machines that do the heavy lifting, and we spend a lot of time making sure they don’t break down when we have a big order to finish.
