H. N. Enterprises

I am Gangadaraiah H N, the son of Nadaiya, and I run H. N. Enterprises here on the Main Road in Holehonnur. Our place is right by the Basaveshwara Temple, so it is quite easy to find if you are passing through the area. This is a small town in the Bhadravati Taluka and everyone kind of knows each other’s business. We do a bit of everything here as a general enterprise for the community. It is mostly about handling what the local people need for their daily work or their homes. Living in a place like this means you see the same people every day at the temple and walking on the road. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down usually. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place to do business and store our goods. We have a lot of stuff piled up inside because we try to keep whatever people might ask for. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the muddy roads, but we manage somehow. My father started things out many years ago and I just keep it going now. It is a lot of standing around and waiting for customers some days, and then other days it is non-stop work from morning to night. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just walk in or call us on the phone. It’s just how we live and work here in this part of the district. We stay busy with the local trade and the temple crowds.
