Abhishek Traders

Our shop is number six in the Municipal Complex on Bh Road. We’re right near the Karnataka Sangha, which is a landmark everyone knows around here. Being in the complex means there’s always something happening. There are other shops next to us, so we spend a lot of time chatting with the other owners while waiting for customers. It’s a bit of a tight space inside, packed with whatever stock we’ve got in for the week. We try to keep it organized, but sometimes boxes end up stacked in the corner when a big shipment arrives. Abhishek is usually here most of the day, and the rest of us fill in the gaps. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are and what we do. The floor is concrete and the lights flicker sometimes, but it’s our home away from home. On hot days, we leave the door wide open to catch any breeze from the road, even if it brings in a bit of dust. It’s a working-class kind of place. We handle the sales, count the cash at the end of the day, and lock up the heavy iron gate. It’s not complicated. We just show up every morning and see who comes through the door. If someone needs something, we find it for them. That is the way we have operated for years now and it seems to work.
