Ss Hotels N Resorts

You’ll find us at the River Valley Hotel in Simsa. It’s a bit away from the main hustle of the town center, which is something we actually like. Simsa is a quieter area with a lot of apple orchards and views of the valley. Ss Hotels N Resorts isn't one of those massive chains; it’s a more personal place where we handle everything ourselves. We spend a lot of time checking the rooms and making sure the kitchen has enough supplies for breakfast. The walk up the hill can be a bit tiring if you aren't used to it, but the air is much fresher up here. We have a few staff members who live nearby and help with the cleaning and the garden. Sometimes the internet is a bit patchy because of the trees and the hills, but most people are here to look at the scenery anyway. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a fountain, just a simple reception desk where we keep the keys and a logbook. In the evenings, it gets quite still, and you can sometimes hear the river in the distance if the wind is right. We just try to provide a decent place to stay for people who want to be near the mountains without all the noise of the traffic. It’s a quiet life, and we’re happy to be part of the Simsa community. We usually spend our afternoons tidying up the garden or chatting with the guests about their day out in Manali.
