Our place, Sibia Hotels and Properties, is located over by Kenilworth in Shimla. We are right near the Kamla Nehru Hospital, so there is always a bit of movement around here. Shimla is a busy town, especially with all the narrow roads and the hills you have to climb every day. We handle a few properties and the hotel side of things from this spot. It isn't a very large office or anything, just where we get our work done. Living in Shimla means dealing with the cold winters and the crowded summers, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We started this because there was a need for places to stay near the hospital and the main parts of town. It’s a lot of walking up and down the slopes to check on things. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get things fixed quickly, but we do what we can. We aren't trying to be the fanciest spot on the Mall Road. This is more of a practical business for people who have things to do in the city. We see a lot of families and folks coming for work. It’s just us running the show, keeping track of the keys and the maintenance. The building has that old Shimla feel to it, which we like. It’s home for us and a job that keeps us busy from morning until late at night. No big corporate rules here, just our own way of doing things. It’s a bit of a climb to get to us, but that is just how Shimla works.
